Rafael Nadal will miss a pair of U.S. Open tune-up tournaments because of a wrist injury. Nadal has withdrawn from August events in Toronto and Cincinnati to rest his right wrist.
The French Open champion hasn't played since a surprising fourth-round loss to Nick Kyrgios at Wimbledon. The U.S. Open is scheduled to begin August 25.
