Only one player hit double digits for the Cougars while three were only one point away in the victory.
The Cougars held a 7-5 opening quarter lead as Lauren Johnson connected for three of those points.
South Central then got on the scoring track with a 20-6 second period to lead 27-11 at halftime. Taegan Webster, who knocked in one basket in the opening quarter, came back to nail four baskets for eight points. Addison Conant added a basket and two free throws for four.
The scoring slowed down in the third period but South Central still had a 10-4 run to lead 37-15.
Webster finished with 13 points on six field goals and one of six at the line. Kaitlyn Swift, Johnson and Brooke Cowger finished with nine points each.
The Cougars have now won three straight.
