BSE dominated from the get-go, stepping out to a 20-4 opening quarter lead. Dayana Haslett was the leader in the quarter, hitting four baskets for nine points. Presley Williams chipped in with two baskets and a free throw for five points.
The homestanders continued their onslaught with a 17-6 second period to lead 37-10 at halftime. Jayna Ireland took over the scoring duties, connecting on three baskets for six points.
Haslett finished with 17 points for the winners on seven baskets, two of those three-pointers, and one of two at the line. Also in double figures was Ireland with 10 points.

Effingham 62, North Clay 14
Effingham's Alyssa Martin got on a roll in the opening quarter as the Hearts swarmed out to a 21-3 lead on North Clay (Louisville) and went on for a 62-14 victory.
Martin connected on five baskets and was two of two at the line to score 14 of her team's opening quarter points. Sidney Donaldson added four points and Sagie Althoff hit a three-pointer.
The Hearts continued on with a 16-6 second quarter to lead 37-9 at halftime.
Martin finished with eight of 12 field goals and was four of four at the line for 20 points. Althoff chipped in with 11 points while Averie Wolfe and Donaldson added eight each.
North Clay was led by Miah Ballard with six points and Matia Price with five. The Cardinals dropped to 4-5 on the season and return to play today at Dieterich.
Effingham improved to 7-1 on the season and doesn't return to action until Thursday when Mattoon comes calling.

Teutopolis took charge and never looked back in a 53-20 victory over Richland County (Olney).
The Wooden Shoes stepped out to a 14-9 opening quarter lead and led 26-13 at halftime. T-town then had 27-7 second half.
Chloe Probst opened with five points in the first quarter on a regular basket and a three-pointer and finished out leading the Shoes with 14 points. She hit six field goals, two of those three-pointers. Also in double figures was Malea Helmink with 11 points on five field goals and one of two at the line.
Olney did not have a player in double figures.
