Cubs To Sign Jose Veras
(Chicago, IL) -- The Cubs have added some bullpen depth. ESPN right-hander Jose Veras has agreed on a one-year, $4-million deal. The contract includes a $5.5-million option for 2015. The 33-year-old started last season as the Astros closer before being dealt to the Tigers in July.
