Betty M. Belleville, 79, of Effingham, IL, passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham. Burial will be in Loy Chapel Cemetery in rural Effingham. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Betty was born on June 7, 1941, in Clay County, IL, the daughter of Noble and Flossie Walker. She married Donald Lee Belleville on March 30, 1963 in Bible Grove, IL. He preceded her in death on April 16, 2013.Betty loved reading, talking to her sisters and grandchildren, traveling, and following her grandchildren’s sporting events. She also loved watching old country music programs. She was a beautiful person inside and out.

Betty was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who always put her family first. She lived 70 years in Louisville, IL and 9 years in Effingham, IL.

Betty is survived by her four-legged companion, Maggie Mae; children, William (Gail) Belleville of Moro, IL, Cheryl (Steve) Fulk of Effingham, IL, and Chester (Wendy) Belleville of Teutopolis, IL; grandchildren, Zach Belleville of Moro, Lucas Belleville of Moro, Kelsey (Taylor) Frost of Effingham, Ethan (Emily) Fulk of Edgewood, Travis Fulk of Springfield, Layton (Whitney) Belleville of Dieterich, and Lane Belleville of Teutopolis; great-grandchildren, Eva, Emma, Kenton, and Ari Frost of Effingham and Mila and Nora Fulk of Edgewood; siblings, Bill (Jean) Walker of Strasburg, Jake (Arilla) Walker of Louisville, Kay (Jim) Taylor of Paris, and Ruth Lashbrook of Haubstadt, IN; brother-in-law, Charlie Culver of Strasburg; and brother, Noble Walker Jr. of Clay City.

She was preceded in death by her father, Noble and mother, Flossie; husband, Donald; brother, Charles Walker; and sisters, Mary (Larry) Britton and Janet Culver.
