Millie was born on August 31, 1936 in Effingham County, IL, to Herman & Della (Esker) Probst. Following Herman’s passing, Della married Andrew Probst. Millie married Gene Nosbisch on April 27, 1957 in St. Aloysius Church in Bishop. He preceded her in death on March 4, 2015.
Millie, along with Gene, raised their four children on the family farm in Montrose. She was a giver and the hardest worker on the farm and in the house. After Gene and Millie stopped farming, they moved to Teutopolis and Millie started her second career at Three Z Printing where she worked for many years. She loved to help her family, friends, neighbors, church, and community. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, cooking, trips to the casino and like her husband Gene, she was a woman who lived her faith, loved her family and will be missed by many.
Millie is survived by her four children, Lynn (Scott) Calvert, Mike (Mindy) Nosbisch, Lyle (Carla) Nosbisch, and Chris Nosbisch; 13 grandchildren, Lindsey, Torey, Chad, Cody, Kelsey, Nikki, Eric, Zach, Mitch, Michael, Nicholas, Brittany, and Wyatt; and 11 great-grandchildren, Ryerson, Beau, Paxton, Hutch, Evy, Crew, Harper, Sylvie, Maverick, Oliver, and Finn. Millie is also survived by her siblings, Evie (Kenny) Koester, Pat (Jerry) Stock, Kenny (Karen) Probst, Weldon (Sharon) Probst, and Carol (Max) Higgs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Della; and husband, Gene.
