Ruth Lane, 91, of Windsor, Illinois, formerly of Neoga, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 14, 2020 in Coles County, Illinois.
Ruth was born October 7, 1929 in Chatham, Illinois, the daughter of Archie and Violet (Bray) Dearman. She married Aubrey D. Lane December 16, 1946; the love they had for each other resulted in four beautiful children, Mike Lane (Pandora) of Toledo, Illinois, Gary Lane (Linda) of Paris, Illinois Karla Prince (Chuck) of Windsor, Illinois and Darrell Lane (Robin) of Mattoon, Illinois. She was the grandmother of ten grandchildren (spouses); twenty two great grandchildren and sixteen great great grandchildren, she also had several step grand and great grandchildren.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and two sisters, husband, Aubrey, grandchildren Randy Lane and Kristen Lane Brunson and two great grandchildren, Myles and Jocelyn.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday December 17, 2020 at the Swengel - O’Dell Funeral Home of Neoga, Illinois. Visitation will be Thursday December 17, 2020 from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Neoga Memorial Cemetery in Neoga, Illinois.
