Jennifer Kay Pruemer, 28, of Effingham, IL, passed away on Friday, November 20, 2020 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.

Private family services will be held at Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham, IL.

Jennifer was born on April 3, 1992 in Denver, CO, the daughter of Dennis Pruemer and Janelle Sechrest.

Jennifer was strong-willed and independent since birth. She was a loving mother to her children and loved her family, especially her niece and nephews. Jennifer always enjoyed the cruise ship vacations she went on with her family. She also enjoyed listening to music and just hanging out with friends. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Effingham.

Jennifer is survived by her children, Lorelai, Shayna, and Dominic; mother, Janelle (Erwin) McCulloch of Effingham; brother, Darren Pruemer of Effingham; sister, Amanda Pruemer of Effingham; nephews, Thadeous and Dean McCoy; niece, Rosemary Pruemer; grandmother, Marilyn Pruemer of Effingham; aunts and uncles, Jeanlyn (Steve) Stockman and Julie (Mark) Pike all of Effingham; cousins, Kelly Pruemer and Bayleigh Stockman and her son, Jackson; and Jennifer’s special friend, Nick.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Pruemer; grandparents, Ross and Esther Sechrest; grandfather, Jerome Pruemer; and uncle, Roger Sechrest.
