Timothy Deane Loy (59) of Lerna

Timothy Deane Loy, 59, of Lerna, IL passed away at 7:50 a.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2020 at home,Timothy Deane Loy, 59, of Lerna, IL passed away at 7:50 a.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2020 at home, surrounded by his loved ones.

Tim was born on March 27, 1961, in Effingham, the son of Glen and Alta (Pontious) Loy. He attended Effingham Schools, served in the National Guard and was a veteran of the United States Army. Tim was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church in Charleston. He enjoyed crafting, quilting, sewing, fishing and camping.

Surviving are his life partner, Loren Neal of Lerna; daughter, Tia; grandson, Jack; sisters: Carol (Vince)“Jeanne” Eckel-Claps of Summerfield, FL, Sandra Tipsword of Summerfield, FL, Linda Pippin of Kingsman, AZ and Cathy Loy of St. Elmo; brother, Arvie Loy of Charleston; many nieces, nephews,great-nieces, great-nephews and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Glen, Mike, Kent and Kevin; sisters: Bonita Davisand Marjorie Stuemke.

Private graveside services will be held at Branch Side Cemetery in Gays. Memorials may be made to thefamily. Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home in Windsor is assisting the family.
