Harvey Earl Colwell, 60, of Shumway, IL, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at his home.
Private family services will be held. Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham, IL is assisting the family.

Harvey was the third of six children born to Donald and Margretta (Turnipseed) Colwell. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Dale Colwell.
Harvey is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Martha Colwell of Shumway; brothers, Wayne (Connie) Colwell of Newton and Danny (Heather) Colwell of Olney; and sisters, Melody (James) Boggs of Trenton, MI and Donna Colwell of Murphysboro.
Harvey served his country in the United States Navy. He worked nearly 40 years in the computer IT industry. The last several years he ran his own IT business, Quality Networks, serving the Effingham area. He had a passion for nature and wildlife which he shared with his wife. Harvey also enjoyed beekeeping.
