A two-vehicle collision at 3rd and Fayette in Effingham resulted in one vehicle ending up on its side Friday morning.

No other details are available yet. A person was entrapped for a time inside the vehicle that ended up on its side.

The crash happened just before a brief cloudburst that left a tenth of an inch of rainfall in the downtown area about 11:30am. Things were back to normal by 11:45am.
