Vandalia resident Ferrell Mason Kissiar was sentenced to 30 years in prison Thursday for child pornography.

The 47-year-old Kissiar pleaded guilty to counts related to possession and dissemination of child pornography, along with reproducing the child pornography and conspiracy to commit aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

Kissiar received two six-year sentences, two five-year sentences and an eight-year sentences, and the sentences will run consecutively, not together. Kissiar was also fined $6,000, must register for life as a sexual predator, and will serve three years to life mandatory supervised release once out of prison. He will be given credit for 871 days served in jail while awaiting disposition of his case.

The charges filed against Kissiar in 2021 by Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul's office in Fayette County were filed in connection with child pornography charges filed against Andrew and Amber Wehrle of Vandalia. The Wehrles cases are to be finalized in August.
