South Central FFA Students Attend Ag Legislative Day

South Central FFA had nine members attend Ag Legislative Day in Springfield.
This event invites hundreds of FFA members from across the state to come to the Capitol building and see everything about it. Also, the FFA members there helped distribute product baskets to Senators and Representatives.
The students thanked the legislators for their support of ag education in the state.
South Central students met with Representative Blaine Wilhour and Senator Jason Plummer. Plummer gave the students a tour and spoke about the Capitol. They also got photos with the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and Miss Illinois County Fair Queen.
The students said they enjoyed meeting and speaking with all these individuals, as well as being advocates for Agriculture Education.
