No School Again Today in Unit 40; Classes Will Resume Tuesday

Again today, classes are canceled in the Effingham Unit 40 School District.

Here is the statement released by Superintendent Andrew Johnson over the weekend:

"The investigation into the issue with our District’s computer network continues.

At this time there is still no evidence that any employee or student personal information has been compromised.

After careful consideration school officials have decided that Effingham Unit 40 School District will continue extracurricular activities as scheduled.

For Monday, February 13, 2023 there will be no student attendance. Monday will be a Teacher Institute day for all Unit #40 employees.

On Tuesday, February 14, 2023 student attendance will resume.

The District will continue to provide updates to the public as new information becomes available."
