Stew-Stras District Maintenance Grant to be Used on Windows

Stewardson-Strasburg school board members approved the district's school maintenance grant request. The funds would be used toward window replacement work in the high school complex.

The Board discussed their sewage project. There are still a few easements to be acquired before the project can proceed. The plan to run sewer from the school complex to tap into the sewer system in Strasburg.

Board members discussed athletic field lighting, re-scheduled their December meeting to the 19th, heard from Principal Cody McCollum that the district has two Illinois State Scholars in Maddie Rincker and Dane Durbin and a member of the All District Orchestra in Briar Smith, and heard that Trunk or Treat at the school will be October 24th from 6 to 7pm.
