Pavement Patching on South Banker Begins Monday

Pavement patching begins Monday on US Route 45, or South Banker Street, in Effingham from Fayette Avenue to Jaycee Avenue.

The work will reduce Banker Street to one lane in each direction at times, with traffic control utilizing dynamic message signs, arrow boards, spotters and barricades. Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through the area. If possible, motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes.
