Change on the Fayette County Board

There will be a new member of the Fayette County Board at week's end.
The Board Tuesday accepted the resignation of Larry Emerick, as he is moving out of District 3. His resignation is effective this Friday. The resignation was accepted 11-1.
The Board also accepted the recommendation of Fayette County Democrat Committee Chairman Al McDowell and appointed John Cearlock to fill the vacancy. That vote was also 11-1. Jake Harris submitted the lone No vote.
