Altamont Council Approves Trailer Court Application

Altamont city council members this week approved an application to maintain a local trailer court.
Lemongrass Altamont LLC is based in Owensboro, Kentucky. The firm would like to purchase the Northside Mobile Home Park from a company based in Georgia, but the transaction was contingent on the city's approval of the application.
Council members also finalized with Kieffer Brothers Construction of Mt. Carmel payments for watermain improvements in the area of US Route 40 and Illinois Route 128.
The Council also met in closed session concerning the setting of a sale price for a piece of property, but no consensus as to the price was reached. The parcel was not identified in open session.
