Bench Trial for McCammack in Fayette County

Fayette County attempted murder suspect Trevor McCammack has waived his right to a trial by jury, and will be the subject of a bench trial in January.

McCammack is charged with the shooting of David Troxell of Brownstown in September of 2019. Troxell went to a rural residence in the early morning hours of September 23 and sought assistance, saying he had been shot. Troxell was taken for treatment, and McCammack was taken into custody later that morning.

McCammack has been held in Fayette County Jail in Vandalia under $1 million bond.
