90 New Positive COVID-19 Cases in County from Friday thru Sunday

Two area counties are reporting deaths due to COVID-19 in the past week.
Shelby County Health Department reported the death of a woman in her 30s, while Coles County Health Department reports a death due to COVID, but didn't release details as to the person's age or gender.
Effingham County Health Department reported 90 new positive cases of COVID-19 in the period from Friday through Sunday, September 3-5. That compares to 47 cases from Friday through Sunday, August 27-29.
60 of those 90 new positive cases involve those under age 40. 26 of those are in their teens or younger.
