Governor Pritzker has directed that flags are to be flown at half-staff in honor and remembrance of Lt. Aaron Landers of the University of Illinois Police Department.

Lt. Landers, son of retired Effingham Assistant Police Chief Dave Landers, was fatally injured in a multi-vehicle collision in Champaign.

The notice is effective from sunrise Saturday until sunset Tuesday.
