The Effingham Unit 40 Board of Education has begun the process of hiring a new superintendent. The new superintendent will begin duties on July 1, 2022, upon the retirement of Superintendent Mark Doan.
The Board has selected Educational Leadership Solutions, an educational search firm, to assist with the superintendent search. The first step in this process is to create a New Superintendent Profile, using information gathered from an on-line survey. The New Superintendent Profile will guide the school board in the selection process.
The Board said completing the survey will take about 10 minutes. You can gain access to the survey here: https://bit.ly/Effingham40SuptSearchSurvey
Board members said their most important consideration is securing the strongest candidate pool and ultimately the best person to lead the District.
Contact the consultants assisting the Board if you have any questions or comments regarding the search: Dr. Richard Voltz at rvoltz@mac.com and/or Dr. Carrie Hruby at chruby@edls.info.
