The 2021 Pack the Bus event has proved to be very successful.

The Catholic Charities bus parked on the lot at our studios at Fayette and Willow was visited many times Friday. Local residents brought a lot of school supplies. This year's event, though, has seen a great number of donations of cash and checks. The monetary donations are great, since the dollars can be used to buy items where donations were a little short.

(SOME OF THE BACKPACKS AND OTHER ITEMS DONATED BY AREA RESIDENTS DURING "PACK THE BUS")

Catholic Charities travels a seven-county area to make free school supplies available.

We will get a final total for you later. In the meantime, thanks to everyone who has given. The bus will be here until 5pm today.
