A Charleston man has been charged with murder.
(FAIRCHILD)
26-year-old Joshua A. Fairchild is accused in the death of 50-year-old Cheleta Branch. Charleston City Police Friday reponded to a well being check at a residence on Jackson Avenue. Officers arrested Fairchild at his residence there.
Investigators executed a search warrant and discovered Branch's body in the residence.
Authorities are still determining when Branch's death occurred. An autopsy was conducted to help determine the official cause of death, but could also help determine when the death took place.
