The driver was injured in a crash Thursday morning on Old Watson Road.
Effingham County sheriff's deputies report the crash occurred a half-mile south of 1000th Avenue at 7:17am.
The driver, 23-year-old Sallie Wettstein of Chicago, told deputies she was traveling north on Old Watson Road. She said she lost control of the vehicle, which slid off the side of the roadway. Wettstein said she overcorrected, and caused the vehicle to flip three times and come to rest on the vehicle's passenger side.
Wettstein was taken to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
Wettstein was cited for no valid driver's license, operating an uninsured vehicle, and improper lane usage.
