Teutopolis village board members have approved a third golf cart crossing across Main Street (US Route 40) in the village.
Carts can now cross Main Street at Race Street. That crossing joins Pearl Street and Columbus Street.
The Board also lowered the minimum allowable age to operate a golf cart in the village to 18 years old, from 21 years old.
Village board members approved the Wooden Shoe Development subdivision plat. The plan is to combine two lots into one for a possible new development in the west side development.
Village Board President David Repking led the Board in a discussion about possible changes at the state level as to Tax Increment Financing districts, and the implications of those changes. None of the proposed changes have been finalized.
The Board released its claim on a lot in Prairie View Subdivision, and approved 4% pay increases for all village employees.
