2,404 New COVID Cases Reported Tuesday in Illinois

The Illinois Department of Transportation Tuesday reported 2,404 new confirmed and probable cases of Coronavirus Disease in the state, including 17 additional COVID-related deaths. The number of cases in the state is down about 600 from Monday's report.
There were no COVID-related deaths reported Tuesday in any area counties.
As of Monday night, 1,396 individuals in Illinois were reported to be in the hospital with COVID-19. Of those, 308 patients were in the ICU and 121 patients with COVID-19 were on ventilators.
