Two Pickups Collide in Fayette County

Two pickup trucks collided in Fayette County Thursday afternoon, injuring one of the drivers.

The crash happened at 3:45pm on US Route 40 at Fayette County Road 1470. Illinois State Police report pickups driven by Abagail Durbin and Brock Oberlink, both 22 years old and both of Brownstown, were westbound when Oberlink attempted to turn into a private drive. Durbin struck the Oberlink unit from behind and the Oberlink unit overturned in the right ditch.

Durbin was injured and was taken for treatment.

Durbin was cited for following too closely.
