IHSA Board Meeting Today

The Illinois High School Association Board is holding a special meeting today.
The meeting is set for 1pm.
IHSA Associate Director Matt Troha emailed this morning that he's not certain whether there will be any action at the meeting.
The IHSA is currently on record as saying they plan to proceed with high school basketball as scheduled. That includes practices beginning November 16 and the season for boys and girls beginning November 30.
Gov. J.B. Pritzker and the Illinois Department of Public Health are asking for a spring start to basketball.
School districts are caught in the middle.
