Effingham One of Several Communities Where Pizza Huts Closed

The Effingham Pizza Hut restaurant has closed for good, but the local location is one of several in the region where that has occurred.
Other Pizza Hut locations closing their doors for good include Salem, Centralia, Taylorville, Olney, Flora, Charleston and Paris.
The company said in July that the 300 US locations closed throughout the US "significantly underperformed" compared with the rest of its locations.
