Unit 40 Board Approves Hiring, Acts on Two Student Matters

Effingham Unit 40 school board members Thursday hired Jenna Orsborn as a two-hour cashier and as a half-hour secretary, both at South Side School.

The Board also acted on two student matters. One student was placed on principal's probation for the first semester of the new school year, the other student was expelled through the end of the 2020-2021 school year, and was referred to an alternative education setting.
