The murder trial of David Bright in Fayette County has again been delayed.
The trial was to begin Monday, but Bright again sought a continuance. Judge Kimberly Koester granted the continuance, but indicated this would be the last one.
The 71-year-old Mulberry Grove man is charged with two counts of first degree murder for allegedly striking James Skinner of rural Brownstown in the head in September of 2017.
Bright is to go on trial on September 21. A final pre-trial hearing is scheduled for September 8.
Bright is being held in Fayette County Jail in Vandalia on $1 million bond.
