Wyatt Avenatti Earns Two More Victories At Jasper Co. Fair

NEWTON -- Wyatt Avenatti added on to his victories Tuesday as harness racing ended at the Jasper County Fair.

Avenatti tallied two driving victories Monday and then claimed two wins again on Tuesday's card. Avenatti drove Truly A Winner to a victory in the Big 10 2-Year-Old Filly Pace. The pair won with a time of 2:08.0. Owners included Bart Seales, Kevn Miller and Wayne Moldehauer.

Avenatti then took Fillys Revenge to victory in the Illinios Harness Horsemen's Association 3-Year-Old & Up Filly-Mare Pace. The pair had an opening time of 29.0 then finished with a time of 1:58.4.

The evening opened with the Big 10 2-Year-Old Filly Trot and another Monday winner, Darla Martin Lohman, claiming the win behind Bettingonyou. Lohman guided the filly to the victory in 2:16.1 for owner Larry Longnecker.

Longnecker also owned the next winner in the Big 10 2-Year-Old Colt/Gelding Trot. Jared Finn drove Got The Grit to victory with a time of 2:17.4.

The Big 10 2-Year-Old  Colt/Gelding Pace went to Bruiser Cruiser. Cornelius Cavett guided the winner across the line with a time of 2:10.2. Cavett also trained Bruiser Cruiser.

In the fifth race, the Topline 2-Year-Old Trot, Deacon David claimed the victory. Kelcey Perymond guided the victor to a time of 2:07.2.

The Topline 2-Year-Old Filly Pace went to Rushville. Clay Simpson, driver and trainer, took the filly to victory in 2:06.4.

Matthew Avenatti was a winner behind Windy Knight in the Topline 2-Year-Old Colt/Gelding Pace. The pair crossed the finish line with a time of 2:11.1. Avenatti also trained Windy Knight.

The No. 9 race went to DeputyDawg. Jamaica Patton took Deputy Dawg to the win in 2:07 and also is the trainer.

The final race of the fair went to Prairie Queen. Owned by Jacob Roedl, Prairie Queen was led by Jordan Patton to the victory in 2:10.3. Cornelius Cavett is the trainer.
