Errol Spence Jr. has dropped out of his planned August 21 pay-per-view fight against Manny Pacquiao in Las Vegas due to a retinal tear in his left eye that was discovered in his pre-fight medical exam.

Promoters said Tuesday that WBA welterweight champion Yordenis Ugas will step in to fight Pacquiao on the same date.
