The Mustangs won the seventh-grade game, 35-9, taking a 19-1 opening half lead.
Carson Fox scored 19 points for the winners while Jenner Pals added nine.
EJHS stands at 12-4 on the season.
In eighth-grade action, Effingham claimed a 45-17 victory and improves to 7-9.
Two players scored in double figures. Carter Braddy led the way with 11 while Jack Hartman added 10. Jake Niebrugge finished with nine.

At Arthur
Stewardson-Strasburg picked up victories over Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond Monday.
Stew-Stras took a 21-11 halftime lead then had a 9-0 third quarter run and finished with a 34-21 win in the seventh-grade game.
Manhart and Duncan tallied nine points each for the winners who improved to 13-5 on the season.
In eighth-grade action, Stew-Stras was a 59-48 winner. ALAH held a 9-7 opening quarter lead but Stew-Stras came roaring back with a 22-4 second period to lead 29-13 at halftime. ALAH had a 19-11 third quarter but Stew-Stras finished strong with a 19-16 final period.
Four players hit double figures for Stew-Stras. Morris led with 13 while Vonderheide added 12, Bible 11 and Pruemer 10. Stew-Stras is now 13-2 on the season.
