Lincoln Land Loggers See Season End at Nationals

The Lincoln Land Community College baseball team saw a great season come to a quick end with two consecutive losses at the NJCAA Division II World Series.

The Loggers lost to Hinds Community College Saturday, 14-11, and then lost their elimination game, 9-0, Sunday to Mesa Community College.

The Loggers, who had been rated fifth in the nation heading into the tournament, end their season with a glittering 44-17 record.

Effingham High School gradute Drew Levitt and St. Anthony High School graduate Reed Willenborg are members of the Loggers squad.
