Judith I. Ruholl, 81 of Effingham, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 22 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Sigel with entombment in the mausoleum at Woodlawn Cemetery in Effingham. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday evening at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham. Memorial donations may be given to St. Michael’s School. Judith was born January 24, 1939 in Olney, the daughter of the late Fred “Fritz” and Irene (Mascher) Hardiek. She married Francis E. “Frank” Ruholl on August 7, 1965. Judith was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Effingham and enjoyed playing bingo and doing word search puzzles.
Judith is survived by her husband, Frank of Effingham; sons, Carl (Sarah) and Brian (Stephanie), both of Sigel; sister, Janet Beck (special friend, Vernon Stiffler) of Effingham and brother, Roger (Norma) Hardiek of Mt. Vernon; grandchildren, Cody (fiance, Asia) of Effingham, Courtney, Justin, Nick, Nancy and Chris, all of Sigel.
