LLC Trustees Okay Pay Increases

Lake Land Board of Trustees members approved pay increases for the coming year at this month's meeting.

Administrators, supervisors and support staff received 4% pay hikes, and part-time rates and stipends were increased by 4%. 

The Board also approved part-time staff hourly increases, and approved a contract renewal with AFSCME.

Trustees approved a three-year agreement with TalkLife Limited for TalkCampus student mental health services and approved a one-year renewal agreement wityh Calm App for student use. Also approved was a performance contract with Veregy for chiller replacement at Luther Student Center and a three-year agreement with Mongoose Research for texting, chat and AI assistant services.

Earlier, Lake Land trustees approved the purchase of HyFlex equipment for the Effingham Technology Center. The service provides TV screen software that facilitates interactive meetings between campuses.
