Dieterich School Board Accepts One Change Order, Rejects the Other

Dieterich school board members approved one change order and rejected the other during a special meeting Monday.

Andrew Ewing of The Upchurch Group presented the change orders to the Board.

The one accepted is to upsize the electrical cabinet. The change from 1200 amps to 1600 amps allows enough electrical service to the building in case of any future additions or electrical needs. The change order increases the cost of the project by $14,952.

The other change order, to infill the remaining courtyard with concrete, was rejected. The change order would have increased the project cost by $100,120.
