Teutopolis Village Board members Wednesday decided against any changes to the village's open burning ordinance.

The matter was tabled, and is not expected to be revisited.

The open burning hours in Teutopolis are Friday, Saturday and Monday between 6am and 6pm.

The Board also approved amending the minutes from a meeting on September 21 to specify that Farmweld will pay $15,000 toward the cost of a sidewalk project on the east end of town where the business is located, if the sidewalks are installed by September 2024.
