A pavement patching project on Keller Drive and Henrietta Street from Evergreen Avenue to Jefferson Avenue in Effingham is to begin Monday, August 29.
The work will reduce Keller/Henrietta to one lane in each direction at times, with traffic control utilizing message signs, arrow boards, spotters and barricades.
Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through the affected area. To avoid the work area, when feasible, use of alternate routes should be considered. Drivers are urged to pay close attention to changed conditions and signs in the work zones, obey the posted speed limits, refrain from using mobile devices and be alert for workers and equipment.
