White Found Guilty of Hubbartt Murder

A Macon County jury Thursday evening found Decatur resident Jason White guilty of first degree murder in the shooting death of Zach Hubbartt of Windsor.

Hubbartt's body was found in a house in Decatur on August 27, 2017. White and another suspect, Ryan Waters of Decatur, have been charged in Hubbartt's death. Waters is to go on trial in November.

White's attorney had aimed to show that Waters fired the gun that killed Hubbartt as part of a drug deal

White is to be sentenced on December 7.
