The murder trial of a Mason man has been continued another month.
37-year-old Christopher Glass is charged in the shooting death of Kimberly Mattingly in April 2020, and in helping dispose of her body on property near Beecher City.
Attorneys for both sides are still obtaining information from the other in preparation for the trial, so a delay was approved Thursday.
Glass is now set to go on trial on April 26. A final pre-trial hearing was scheduled for April 15.
Glass is being held in Effingham County Jail under $5 million bond.
